Work Location:

• FULL-TIME position
• Service territory is Central Indiana and surrounding communities

Schedule:

• Monday thru Friday, 8a-5p
• On-call participation

Experience:

• One year of Nurse Practitioner experience is required
• Experience with geriatric population preferred

Job Functions:

• Provide medical support and coordination to palliative care patients and family members
• Complete history and physical examinations, by evaluating the patient's medical condition and health history
• Manage acute/chronic health conditions and terminal illnesses by developing an individualized plan of care, prescribing medications and treatments, obtaining consultations or making referrals
• Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilize appropriate pain management techniques. Educate patient and family regarding pain management
• Efficiently signs orders and scripts for medications for palliative patients
• Participates with provider on-call rotation

Credentials:

• Licensed N.P. in State of Indiana
• Proof of current classroom CPR
• Current driver's license
• Must have reliable transportation and insurance

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
