The position (36405976) works alongside case managers to provide support, education, coordination of services, monitoring a case plan and hands on learning for families where risk factors of child maltreatment are present. Duties include assisting the Family Service Specialist in coordinating services for families, participating in meetings to discuss case plans/goal settings, transporting children/families safely to and from appointments, supervising visits between children and biological parents, preparing documentation of activities between families/children, and providing in-home and emergency services to families during traditional and non-traditional hours.

High school diploma or GED and one year of work experience with special populations such as children and adolescents, mental health challenges, developmentally disabled, and patients in a direct care facility such as a hospital, nursing home, group home, day care or in a community/behavioral health setting.
