Fogelman is hiring a Part Time Concierge position at Thornwood Apartments. Must be able to work nights and weekends (24-30 hours per week)!

Join the team at Thornwood Apartments, a 251-unit community located in the Germantown area of Memphis. The Concierge is the first impression of the community and is responsible for providing superior customer service to the residents. Each day will be unique, requiring the ability to prioritize, multi-task, think creatively, take initiative, and employ a diverse set of skills. A Concierge brings positive energy to each conversation, resolves issues quickly and effectively, and makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated.

REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma required; post- secondary education or degree preferred.
· 2-4 years Concierge, Front Desk, or customer Service experience.
· Availability to work a flexible schedule; any day of the week including weekends.
· Self-motivated, self-starter, enthusiastic, resourceful.
· Exceptional communication skills- both verbal and written.
· Polished, professional demeanor projecting confidence and pride for the business.

CONCIERGE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greets and assists residents and their guests in a courteous and efficient manner: and plays a vital role in ensuring the overall resident satisfaction.
· Answer the telephone, provide information, forward calls and take messages as necessary.
· Ensures the safety and security of the apartment community, by being aware and knowledgeable about who is entering and exiting the property; and ensures non-residents (e.g. guests, tradesmen, deliverymen, etc.) are approved by the resident or the management office.
· Watch the surveillance cameras diligently to ensure no one is on property that should not be and no doors are propped open. Contact the police department as needed.
· Be trained in basic emergency procedures. Contact maintenance personnel immediately if an emergency develops.
· Act as a liaison between residents and service team members regarding both routine and emergency maintenance requests and aid in the follow-up process after work is completed on routine requests.
· Receives and processes incoming and outgoing laundry, shipments and/ or mail and packages.
· Serves as a liaison to the sales team by handing out brochures and business cards in their absence. Also communicating to prospective residents, the apartment community’s amenities, available apartment types and floor plans, while ensuring adherence to Fair Housing Act.
· Maintains pride in the property’s maintenance and appearance needs, by ensuring lobby and public areas are neat and orderly.
· Uses discretion and maintains confidentially of co-workers, management, owners, past and current residents, vendors, and all outside contacts.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
