Responsibilities
- The purpose of Dietary Aide position is to provide assistance in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food polices and procedures
- Dietary Aide follow quidelines of specific nutritional dietary programs and help prepare food and drinks according to individual dietary requirements
- As Dietary Aide, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accoruntability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties
- May be requested to work beyond scheduled working hours at times Is subject to callback during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather, evacuation, post disaster, etc.)
- May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions Working Conditions Work environment may be warm
- Must be able to push, pull, move and or lift up to 25 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 15 feet
- Ability to read fine print on labels and menus
