A kind and busy family in Stow, MA is hiring a fun and energetic full-time nanny for their 1 year old son. He is an active and happy toddler who enjoys playing both indoors and outdoors. His daily routine includes breakfast/lunch, naps, daily walks, along with regular diaper changes and developmentally-appropriate play.

Outdoor walks, reading together, listening to music, motor skill and language development activities are all welcomed. Their ideal caregiver is reliable, thoughtful, kind, energetic, and proactive. An open communicator that sees themselves as a partner with the parents and wants a long-term role would thrive with this family.

Household responsibilities: cleaning bottles/dishes, helping with the child's laundry, picking up after play, meal prep, and researching educational and fun activities.

Driving responsibilities: none

Family has 4 small dog, candidates must be comfortable with animals. You may be asked to feed the dogs in the morning but you will have no other responsibilites with the pets.

Both parents are vaccinated and carefully following CDC guidelines. They ask that nanny candidates are also vaccinated.

Location: Stow, MA

Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday from 8am-4pm starting March 1, 2023

Pay Range: $20-22

You Are:

• Responsible, proactive, caring, and energetic!
• Fully engaged with their son; outgoing and enjoy caring for toddlers as they grow into toddlerhood and beyond
• Communicative and enjoy caring for children while working towards their developmental milestones through play
• Available Wed. and Thurs. from 8am-5pm
• Vaccinated and practicing applicable CDC guidelines for social distancing (family is doing the same)
• Willing and able to pass a background check
• At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States

You Have:

• A minimum of 2 years of childcare experience with toddlers
• Ability to communicate and demonstrate safe sleep practices, age-appropriate play, and routines for toddlers
• Some experience with managing household responsibilities (light tidying of play spaces, meal prep for child's lunch, and child's laundry)
• CPR Certification (or are willing to take a CPR course that we pay for)
• Reliable personal transportation to drive yourself to/from their home for work.
