The Teresa House is a two-bed comfort care home located in Geneseo, NY. We are seeking a part-time RN or LPN to work two mornings per week (7 AM - 11 AM) and provide loving care to terminally ill patients and their families. You would be on call until 7 AM the following morning and rotating weekend shifts would be required. This would be a perfect job for a retired nurse or someone seeking a laid back nursing environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature are a must. The right candidate should be knowledgeable in caring for the terminally ill and performing tasks such as administering medication and providing emotional support. Our goal is to help patients live their final days with dignity and comfort, delivering quality end-of-life care.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with co-workers and other professionals to plan care
• Maintaining accurate records
• Making accurate assessments to evaluate resident's condition
• Notifying the nurse supervisor of a patient's condition when deemed necessary
• Providing support and comfort according to individual resident's needs
• Working with caregivers to plan and execute excellent patient care
• Setting up and administering medication
• Alleviating sudden symptoms of the disease's end phase
• Helping relatives cope with the upcoming loss and providing post-mortem support

Hourly rate varies with experience - base rate is $16.50/hour. If interested, please submit your cover letter, resume and references.
