Title: Part-Time Student-Machine Maintenance-Waterloo IA - 94275
Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position
The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
Process Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders by:- Organizing and filing PMs and work orders
- Ordering parts needed and kitting them
- Updating the weekly PM availability and coordinating with production supervisors to plan time to complete PM
- Scheduling PMs for all shifts, including weekends
- Transferring data from the calibration PMs to the server
- Giving the maintenance engineers PM’s needed updates
- Assist in work order backlog tracking and completion
- Assist the maintenance supervisor and maintenance engineer for project planning
- Assist department calibration equipment coordinator
This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need
Ideally candidates will be pursuing a degree in an Engineering or Technology discipline; others may apply- Must be a full-time student at a local accredited college/university
- Graduation date of 2024 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Available to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
- Available to work 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester
- Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, Iowa, on a daily basis year-round
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn new computer systems
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to interpret data and self-direct accordingly
