Northern Lights is excited to announce that we are hiring for a Parts Counterperson. This individual will be our face to our customers and plays a vital role to the companies success.

Position Overview:

Responsible for customer service and order processing, including order entry, price quotes, inquiries, invoices, and sales. Work involves attention to detail, ability to work effectively with customers and work with limited supervision. Work involves attention to detail and working with minimal supervision.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Provides customer service and processes parts orders.
• Provides customer with technical data and part numbers.
• Responsible for all facets of parts order processing.
• Performs order entry.
• Quotes prices within set guidelines.
• Provides follow up on orders and customer inquiries.
• Invoices customers and collects payment for COD accounts.
• Calls dealers and regular customers on current parts promotions and stocking levels.
• Promotes sales of all products.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to work independently.
• Able to source one off or odd parts from other than standard vendors.
• Experience in parts identification and sales skills including search for parts in manuals and online using engine serial number or VIN.
• Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook.
• Computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
• Experience in identifying parts and searching for parts in manuals and online using engine or product serial number.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service and order processing.

Other Criteria:

Northern Lights Inc. is a drug free workplace that conducts pre-employment physical and drug screenings. We are regulated by the department of transportation and will be conducting random drug testing at regular intervals.
