Parts Manager/ Service Assistant Job at BCI
Job Summary: Harris Golf Cars is a 40-year-old family owned regional golf car distributor for Yamaha golf cars and utility vehicles. We are looking for reliable, team-oriented professionals to add to our staff. Prior office experience and general mechanical service a plus.
General Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in auto/small engines and mechanical knowledge of engines and electrical a plus.
· Clean driving history with knowledge of pulling trailers a plus. Will train the right person to pull a trailer.
· Must be willing to work 40 - 50 hours per week.
· Must have good organizational, multitasking and reasonable computer skills.
Target Responsibilities:
· Managing the parts inventory, placing orders, shipping orders, receipt orders, inventory control.
· Assist in office operations and procedures such as managing parts phone calls, taking order and collecting information on customers service needs.
· Filling over-the-counter orders.
· Assist in maximizing office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
· Assist in helping service technicians prepare and carry out orders for customer service orders.
· Deliver and/or pickup cars from customers.
· Performs a variety of general duties to assist the Parts and Service areas. Able to follow directions.
· Must be Adaptable - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands
· Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves clerical and office-related problems in a timely manner
