Overview: Canon USA in Jamesburg, NJ is seeking a Parts Order Associate Specialist (Assoc Specialist, Parts Order). The Parts Order Associate Specialist is an experienced customer service professional committed to providing high quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving complex shipping concerns. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Individual needs to have strong organization skills, and be technically proficient with an ability to create spreadsheets and do analysis as required. Results oriented individual who is able to help ensure customer representatives deliver an outstanding experience. This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs. Responsibilities: - Investigate and resolve customer claims and inquiries including escalated issues - Issues credits and refunds as needed and for exceptional circumstances - Resolves and responds to customer claims and inquiries - Ensure both toll-free phone calls and emails to generic department email box are handled in a quality manner with a high degree of customer satisfaction - Acts as one of the primary department contacts for resolution of escalated issues - Handles more complex matters requiring collaboration with various departments - Processes department Parts Returns and does analysis on data & statistics - Develops spreadsheet to document &/or track various department scenarios - Looks for methods to streamline processes - Responsible for new hire training and department training regarding processes & procedures - May assist with call metrics and department toll-free phone statistics - Delegates work assignments to Parts Representative I , II and III - Possesses specialized knowledge or skills in a particular functional area - An entry-level professional learning the functions of the job role - Receives general instruction from manager on expected work outcomes - Uses professional education to identify, analyze and resolve issues and interpret company policy - Typically reports to a Manager, but may report to a senior professional individual contributor when business needs dictate Qualifications: Please note: We comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, orders and mandates, including those we may be required to follow as a federal government contractor/subcontractor. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 0 to 2 years of related experience The company will not pursue or support visa sponsorship for this position.
