We are seeking a Manager of Patient Access for Medical City North Hills. Medical City North Hills is a 164-bed hospital specializing in cardiology, orthopedics, trauma (Level III) and general surgery, located in North Richland Hills, TX.

As the Manager of Patient Access you will be responsible for assisting the Director in daily operations of all Patient Access functions and serves as the liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and the facility.

What you will do in this role:


  • Perform patient registration function when needed to ensure wait times are kept to a minimum

  • Model AIDET guidelines in all interactions with the patient and ensure staff are adhering to the patient experience expectations.

  • Ensure QA on registrations for all areas of Registration

  • Provide continuous training for and communicates changes to existing employees

  • Prepare payroll and completes monthly work schedules as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels

  • Follow-up on patient complaints promptly


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required
  • Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement
  • Minimum 3 years healthcare management experience
