Patient Access Representative - Hackettstown Job at Atlantic Health System
Overview:
Hackettstown Medical Center is seeking a full-time Patient Access Representative for the Patient Access Department shifts include weekends as needed.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Arrival of Emergency Department patients, both front door and ambulance entrance
- Registration of Emergency Dept patients to assure all demographics are correct.
- Collection of Co-Payments, and all insurance information.
- Performing paperwork for the uninsured.
- Must be able to follow our AIDET standards
Education / Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Computer data experience and Good Customer Service
- Knowledge Healthcare Insurance
- 1-2 years experience
