We’re seeking a Patient Care Tech (BHT) for our Casa Grande location.

The Patient Care Tech (BHT) will work as part of the clinical team dedicated to behavioral health and substance use. As Patient Care Tech, you will coordinate services with the goal to provide experience, strength, and hope to individuals, their families, and significant others.

Responsibilities

• Obtains vital signs, performs urinedrug screening, obtains blood glucose levels and other medical care duties as delegated by the RN.
• Completes rounds and monitors patient activities, physical and mental status, and reports patient status to nursing staff.
• Documents observations, interventions, and group activities in the patient medical record while maintaining confidentiality of all health information.
• Assists in maintaining a safe, orderly & therapeutic environment.
• Recognizes patients who are behaving aggressively, acting as a danger to themselves or others, or are in a crisis or medical emergency, and communicates this information in real time to the RN.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 6 months healthcare related experience
• Arizona Driver's License with 39 months clear MVR
• Fingerprint Clearance card
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay: $12.80 - $28.63 per hour

• 10 hour shift
