Schedule:
  • Evening shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm)
  • 40 hours a week, rotating days
  • Must work every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Works three major holidays per year

Overview

Barnes-Jewish Hospital

Role Purpose
Ensures for patient safety by remaining at the bedside of the assigned patient(s) and providing continuous observation.

Responsibilities
  • Assists patient and care giver with use of simple medical equipment such as hospital bed, bedside commode, wheelchair, walker, and urinary drainage appliances.
  • Provides appropriate documentation.
  • BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
