PentaHealth, located in southeastern Pennsylvania, is seeking Patient Service Representatives! We have offices in Coatesville, Downingtown, Exton, Lionville, West Chester, Newtown Square, and Philadelphia.

Requirements for a Patient Service Representative at PentaHealth:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Experience in a medical office is preferred, but NOT REQUIRED
• Ability to work well and show respect toward other personnel, patients and their family members
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service and patient skills are required, along with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities of our Patient Service Representatives:

• Kindly greet patients as they enter the office
• Confirm demographic information and update any potential changes, including confirming insurance and co-pay.
• Check-in or check-out patients in a swift, but courteous fashion.
• Assist patients in scheduling follow-up visits, or providing them with any potential biopsy or bloodwork information the doctor has suggested.
• Answer phone calls as needed.

• Our Patient Service Representatives receive thorough training within our offices and on our EMR system (Allscripts)
• Our offices provide care for acute problems as well as chronic illnesses.

Job Type: Full-time/Monday-Friday (no late nights, no weekends!)

Pay: Starts at $17.50 per hour (and up based on experience)
Bonus: $500 retention bonus after your first six-months of employment
