Company based in Raleigh, NC. The position is primarily work-from-home, with occasional in-person training, errands, and events. Candidate must reside in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill vicinity.

Overview

Summerfield Custom Wellness is hiring a full-time Patient Services Coordinator. The Coordinator’s responsibilities include answering inbound calls, responding to emails, calling outbound leads and referrals, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, tracking patient and program logistical details, and providing general administrative support to our employees.

One of the most important responsibilities of this position is matching potential patients with one of the Registered Dietitians on our team that will be able to help them best. Candidates without any knowledge of medical terminology or experience with office coordination would not be successful in this role.

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Highly skilled in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word, in particular).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize; effective time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in the health and wellness industry.
• Committed to the mission and vision of our company.
• Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
• A college degree is preferred; a High School degree with additional qualifications and/or significant prior experience will also be considered.
• A writing sample will be required.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the healthcare or wellness industry, prior office management experience, and/or basic graphic design skills.

Details

This is a full-time position with 40 hours expected per week. The work schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
