, Monday – Friday within dental clinic hours of operation:
Mon. 8am – 6:30pm, Tues. 8:00am – 4:30pm, Wed. 7:30am – 4:30pm, Th. 7:30am – 4:00pm, Fri. 7:30am – 1:00pm
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the applicable Manager performs overall patient registration functions including but not limited to: answering phones; greeting patients; patient scheduling; patient check-in and patient check-out functions.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, with preference given for one-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent employment experience. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Computer skills: typing (minimum 30 WPM), data entry. Testing will be completed to verify minimum level of proficiency.
- Ability to consistently meet department work schedule as designated.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and assessment skills.
- Self-motivated, willing to take the initiative and work autonomously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of people, providers and agencies.
- Excellent customer service skills.
