Patroller - Homewood Mtn. Resort - Lake Tahoe Job at Homewood Mountain Resort - Lake Tahoe
Job Summary
Assists to provide a safe skiing and riding mountain resort environment by means of continuous education, visible resort presence and positive reinforcement. Ski Patrollers offer quality patient care and injury management. Works cross-departmentally to communicate mountain conditions. Thoroughly understands National Ski Area Association’s “Your Responsibility Code”. Pay commensurate with experience level.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and promoting skier safety
- Provide first-aid assistance to accident victims, and the transportation of injured skiers
- Conduct trail checks
- Set up necessary equipment in preparation for the day
Job Requirements
- Current California or National OEC & EMT Certificates and Wilderness First Responders
- Excellent ski and/or snowboard skills
Non-medical positions and training available
