Payroll Specialist Job at Diverse Facility Solutions Inc
The Payroll Specialist position is responsible for maintaining accurate employee files with our system as well as running our bi-weekly payrolls. Also responsible for various departmental projects and providing administrative support as needed. Other duties assigned by CFO and Payroll Director. PAYCOM expericence a plus.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Create and Run Payroll Cycles for Multiple companies
· Set up direct deposit
· Answer employee questions regarding hours, rates etc.
· Submit wage garnishments
· Work with Payroll Director on accrual audits
· Confirm all new hires are assigned correct deductions, accruals, rates, etc
· Work with sites for payroll discrepancies.
· Run various reports
· Terminate employees
· Import hours to timekeeping
Qualifications:
· Associates degree preferred with 2-4 years of accounting experience, but not required
· 1-3 years of payroll experience preferred, but not required
· Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook
· Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and accurately, as well as a team player
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and organization abilities

Pay: $47,000.00 per year
