PCA Position Open - Tolland County Job at Kare Home Assistance, LLC
The Kare Home Assistance agency is currently hiring for an experienced Personal Care Assistant to service our client in the Hebron, CT area. Client is considered "Total Care" and is bed bound. The ideal candidate has prior hands-on experience with the Eldery to abide by personal care standards to complete sponge bathing/dressing, change of bedding, change of disposable under garments and requires transfer experience to utilize a Hoyer lift.
Ideal applicants should have a valid CT driver's license and transportation. Bilingual applicants encouraged. Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
Duties may also include:
- Personal care
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Grocery shopping, errands
- Medication reminding
- Socialization
- Monitoring safety

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must consent to background check
- Must submit drug test
