PCW - Lovell Job at Benetas

Benetas Lovell, WY

What you do matters
Caring for our elders matters. You touch the lives of those you care for and their families. At the same time, you cherish small moments and celebrate life stories.
At the same time, you need a team that cares for you! Part-time hours, regular shifts, or flexible work hours that suit your other commitments like study, grandchildren, or school drop-offs to help you do your best - at work and at home.
What matters to us
It’s the reason you are here, the stories you have to tell, and the possibilities we can create together that matter. Whether you are an experienced carer, recently graduated, currently studying (a certificate), or not yet qualified. We’re here to support you.
Residential Aged Care
Our residential aged care homes are just that, a home for our residents. You’ll work as part of a team of people and help with showering, dressing, simple cleaning, linen service, and meals. But you’ll also be there to spend time with residents, share stories, connect and show kindness and empathy.
We have regular part-time morning, afternoon, and night shifts. If it suits you, weekends too. It can be a great learning environment if you’re new to the industry as you’ll be exposed to experienced carers and nursing staff.
Why work with us?
  • not–for-profit salary packaging advantages to give you more money in your pocket
  • paid training hours to build your skills
  • focus on your learning and development, including a traineeship if you are not yet a qualified carer
  • potential to move within Benetas so that your story with us continues
  • we act with our values and customer principles in mind – not profit
Not sure what salary packaging is? Put simply, a portion of your pay is deducted before tax to give you more take-home pay. Don’t worry -we use a salary packaging partner to guide you through this!
What we look for
  • a genuine passion for caring for our elders
  • able to work independently and as part of a team
  • able to communicate and build rapport with clients in English (other languages can be helpful too)
  • Cert III or higher in Individual Support or related studies (i.e. nursing)
  • students studying Individual Support or related
  • respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
To work in Residential Aged Care, you will need to supply an NDIS clearance, vaccinations, and certification proof. Don’t worry, we’ll only ask you for these when we need them.
Not yet qualified carer? Apply and we can speak to you about our entry-level Aged Care Traineeship for Carers.
