We are located in the heart of Sussex and Morris County. Our primary clinic in Lafayette, New Jersey is located in the lovely Sussex County NJ. Our historic town has great local restaurants and museums. For the outdoor enthusiast, we are 15 minutes from Lake Mohawk. Enjoy your time exploring the boardwalk, fishing, kayaking, or other water activities. We are also 60 minutes from the Newark Airport, take a quick flight, and enjoy your weekend getaway!

Practice Overview

At Performance Pediatrics, we are proud to be a private, owned practice. We are a small yet mighty team, with over 20 staff members, ranging from support staff, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech Therapists. Our mission is to empower children and families to overcome an array of learning disabilities from infants to young adolescents. This hybrid School and clinic based position allows employees to practice in our State of the Art out-patient sensory clinic/s, and school based services from preschool to high school settings. Our team takes pride in delivering the highest and quality care. We are progressive in our treatment, focusing on evidence-based therapy. As we strive for excellence, our team is committed to training and development. What You’ll Be Working On

● Complete initial evaluations for Schools and clinics with various pediatric assessments and regular patient assessment and reassessment in a timely manner

● Develop individualized plans of care based upon evaluation and reassessment

● Educate patients and family members, keep detailed records relating to patient conditions

● Assess patients regularly, monitor progress toward treatment goals, modify plans as needed

● Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for corrective action and process improvement

● Promote positive work environment, collaborate with team members on patient care

Qualifications

● New Jersey Occupational Therapist license required and NJ School Certification

● Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children

● Ability to independently treat patients by developing and following an established therapy plan of care

● Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationships with patients

● Self-starter, a strong level of ownership, and accountability

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

• Lafayette, NJ 07848: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:
