PER DIEM - PART TIME MRI TECHNOLOGIST Job at Community Radiology of Virginia
HOURS: Monday – Friday (Saturdays as needed)
Evening shift hours - Approx. 3pm-8pm
SUMMARY – Perform MRI examinations as requested by ordering physicians and under guidance of radiologists
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Confirm patient appointments, screen patients, and perform MRI exams
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and Corporate Compliance regulations
- Identify patients and reaffirm patient records are correct as well as referring physician accuracy
- Request, retrieve and track previous studies for comparison purposes
- Maintain quality control checks for equipment integrity and cleanliness
- All other duties as assigned
