Staffmax Healthcare is seeking experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery / Obstetrics Unit in Peterborough, NH starting within two weeks of offer.

Salary

• Salary: $28.90/hour - $46.23/hour
• Sign On Bonus Pay Out Schedule: 5,000 in first check, $2,500 after 6 months, and 2,500 after 1 year

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire RN licensure or compact license
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• NRP Certification
• AWHONN Certification
• BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• EMR Experience

Special Skills

• Previous OB/L&D experience is strongly preferred
• BSN (or better) is preferred
• Fetal Monitoring experience is preferred
• STABLE Certification is preferred

Position Summary

• Prescribe and coordinate professional nursing care for assigned obstetrics patients.
• Carry out these responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
• 8-bed LDRP unit we deliver over 350 babies annually.
• Ratio - 1:1 (active labor)
• 1:2/3 for Mother/Baby
• NO OR/C-Section knowledge required
• Candidate will be cross trained in all aspects of obstetrical care within the Birthing Suite.
