Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a Surgical Tech in Mt. Pleasant, MI

Salary

• Hourly: $20.40 - $26.25
• Salary: $42,432 - $54,600 (based on 40 hour workweek)
• Sign On Bonus: $10,000 (Tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment program)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology training program.
• One month of surgical tech experience and/or training.
• BLS certification.

Special Skills

• One year of experience in a medical setting.
• Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
• EMR: Cerner

Position Summary:

• Assists surgeons and other medical professionals in operating rooms and similar environments.
• Prepares patients, rooms and equipment for pending surgical procedures.
• Assists during those procedures as part of the surgical team.
