T. Webber is hiring for a Permit Coordinator who will be responsible for communicating with various municipalities to ensure that the business is compliant with the local building department requirements to allow for a smooth and timely installation of our products. The ideal candidate has experience in the permitting process, thrives in fast pace environments, enjoys working with people, and excels at process building and administrative functions.

Pay Range: $20-$25 per/hr

Duties:

  • Responsible for the filing, scheduling & closing of all job-related permits on both installation and service work.
  • Schedule all pre-and post site inspections with customers and municipalities.
  • Manage and coordinate all utility shut offs for projects; coordinate any required inspections from utility companies, third party agencies, or municipalities.
  • Collaborate with Install Coordinator(s), Frontline Managers & Dispatch to ensure any town requirements are completed and permits are filed and closed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Frontline Managers on conversion jobs and ensuring Con Edison & Central Hudson paperwork is kept up to date.
  • Manage the license renewals for all required local & state municipality licenses.
  • Compile weekly & monthly permit report for all opened, closed and failed permit inspection.
  • Compile and regularly update master permit requirement docs for each township.
  • Manage and update accurate procedures for permitting processes.
  • Manage customer product and rebate processing for jobs; ensure rebate packet is mailed to customer.
  • Service as liaison between customer and office for rebate questions.
  • Manage equipment registration in CRM and manufacturer.

Who you are:

  • Have experience working with municipalities.
  • Familiarity with Electric, Plumbing and/or electric codes.
  • 2 or more years of experience working in the trades industry preferably managing permits and/or rebates.
  • Service Titan experience preferred.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
  • Strong desire to be better at your job tomorrow than you are today.
  • Personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
