Cotoneaster, Inc. is searching for a personal assistant staff to work approximately 35 hours per week in Caruthersville, Missouri. This position requires a reliable, patient, and professional staff, with no physical restrictions. This position is for a 10 year-old client. THIS DOES REQUIRE A SPLIT SHIFT DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR/DURING SCHOOL DAYS: Typical hours during the school year would be Monday through Friday 6am-8am and 3pm-6pm. Saturdays (staff would need to work AT LEAST every other Saturday) from approximately 8am-6pm. No Sundays. During the summer months and/or when school is not in session, staff would work less split shifts and more shifts straight through, with more flexibility to staff and dependent upon staff and client's needs/availability.

Job Description:

Personal Assistance staff will provide assistance to the client, per action steps outlined in the client's Individual Support Plan, in order for the client to improve their independent living skills and mobility, as well as to ensure their health and safety. Personal Assistance staff must also document, in detail, their daily interactions with clients, involving the action steps addressed, level of assistance required, level of participation from the client, etc.

***Personal Assistance staff must have a reliable vehicle and current auto insurance.

***Personal Assistance staff must possess a high school diploma or General Education Diploma, and must present it upon hiring process.

***Personal Assistance staff must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic.

***Personal Assistance staff must be able to pass a criminal background check.
