Personal Care Assistant / Educational Assistant
Are you seeking a part-time position and an opportunity to use your skills in a school setting ? ACES is seeking staff with personal care background to work in Ansonia High School, CT. Must have the ability to develop a rapport with young adults. A CNA background is preferred. Some experience working with Hoyer lifts is desired but training will also be provided.
Must be reliable and able to work consistently a Monday-Friday school schedule.
Assists with personal care needs, emergency drills, assemblies, field trips, and instructional activities.
Ensure the safety and well being of assigned student and must be flexible in terms of assisting teachers when not working directly with the one-one assignment.

Qualifications and Experience
High School Diploma/GED
CNA certification or current enrollment in a program of study in a health-related field
Ability to establish and follow behavior plans/procedures.
Ability to work well with students, staff and parents in a professional manner.
Experience working in all school settings.
Collaboration, organization and teamwork skills.
