Active Home Care Services is a home health provider currently seeking experienced, dedicated, and compassionate individuals to provide in-home, one-on-one care for those in your local community. On-the-spot hiring after a phone screen.

Minimum pay of $13.00 per hour!

With an immediate need to fill permanent cases as well as, fill-ins. Offering full-time and Part-time hours.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provides health care tasks, personal hygiene services, housekeeping tasks, and other related support services essential to the participant's health
• Prepares and services simple meals according to instruction and assists with feeding as necessary.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assists with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair.
• May assist self-directing participants in applying non-prescription topical medications to the skin surface.
• Transport participants for errands, as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• A minimum of two years of experience working with the frail, elderly, or long-term care population is preferred.

Specific Requirements

• Possess current GNA or CNA ( bonus)
• Possess a current CPR and First Aid certification. (must have)
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult participants.
