The Pharmaceutical Sales Professional serves as a direct link between the company and health care providers (HCPs) and clients.

Responsibilities:
The Pharmaceutical Sales Professional handles all operational aspects of pharmaceutical sales and service including, but not limited to: generating sales, communication and promotion of the clinical and economic benefits of the product, building and maintaining successful relationships, educating health care staff, and identifying new opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Establishes, develops and maintains successful business partnerships with targeted health care providers (HCPs) and staffs within assigned geographical territory, to increase product awareness through appropriate scientific information and educational programs to medical professionals.
  • Educates HCPs and other medical and pharmacy staff in the indicated use of the product, to create consultative, solution-oriented business partnerships by meeting regularly with appropriately targeted HCPs and staffs and pharmacy staff to understand and discuss company products and how they can meet their patients identified needs.
  • Collaborates closely with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to implement and execute a specific and integrated action plan for assigned territory in order to achieve the defined territory and sales goals as well as objectives for assigned products.
  • Identifies and investigates customer concerns and communicates with appropriate HCP staff or Tris personnel to solve problems in a timely manner, which could include notifying Pharmacovigilance (PV) Department.
  • Remains compliant with all regulations in the course of carrying out responsibilities, adhering to all company policies.
  • Analyzes sales data to determine potential and then executes an action plan in the territory to ensure appropriate calls, reach, frequency, lunch and learns, etc. to meet and exceed sales expectations.
  • Attends conferences, training, exhibits, meetings, and product launches as required.
Must haves:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2 - 5 years sales experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry with documented sales success.
  • Documented track record of exceeding sales targets and successfully and independently growing and managing a territory.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex sales and technical data and to develop strategic and actionable business plans.
  • Experience conducting successful consultative, solutions-oriented sales calls.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and explain complex medical and scientific information.
  • Ability to work independent as well as be a strong team player.
  • Ability for 10-20% overnight travel to manage territory and / or attend meetings.
  • Valid US driver's license and clean driving record.
