Friday Harbor Drug is an independent pharmacy that strives to go the extra mile for our patients. We often know our patients on a first name basis and we try to make them feel like part of the Friday Harbor family. Initially there would be a phone interview with the hiring manager. All candidates selected to progress would be offered a zoom interview with the owners and hiring manager. If you're selected to continue, we would offer a two to three day working interview.

Job Description: We are looking for dedicated technicians who are friendly, energetic, detail-orientated, and want to work in a patient centered pharmacy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or GED
• Must be licensed through the Pharmacy Commision as a Pharmacy Technician
• Excellent computer, typing, communication, and math skills
• Understand and can perform basic pharmaceutical calculations
• Read and transcribe pharmaceutical information
• Ability to learn and accurately operate pharmacy computer systems, cash register, and other equipment
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays, as required
• Must be able to lift and carry items, as well as stand for duration of shift

Preferred Requirements

• Familiarity with PioneerRx
• >3 years experience
• Further technician training (ex. compounding)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
