Job Description:
University Cancer & Blood Center is hiring for a Phlebotomist for our Lab team. This position is full time, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in Lavonia. You can travel to one of our other locations to get to 40 hours. Hours may very depending on location. Candidate must be able to begin working by 7:20 am on early days.
Job Duties:
- Call each patient back for assigned provider
- Obtain full vitals on patients
- Draw all lab work ordered by provider. Finger stick, venipuncture, etc.
- Room patients or escort to treatment area.
- Clean and stock exam rooms and lab area
- Assist providers in bone marrow biopsies
Requirements:
- Must be a Certified Phlebotomist
- Previous medical experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to work individually and as a team.
- A positive attitude is a must!
