Performs the duties of the Physical Security Administrator for Tech Systems, Inc. on Schofield Barracks on a U.S. Army logistic services contract. Works directly under general supervision of the Physical Security Manager. This position plans, directs and coordinates the operation of a sound and effective security program throughout the organization and contract. This position maintains the responsibility to coordinate/manage programs relative to plans, readiness, mobilization, training, physical security of people, government property, conventional weapons/munitions/explosives, terrorism counteraction, crime prevention and technical assistance. This position will conduct physical security site inspections/visits and internal reviews and audits of physical security plans and implementation at all contract site locations within the 402nd, AFSBn-Hawaii footprint. This may include travel to Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) on the Big Island, Hawaii.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conducting and collecting monthly Random Antiterrorism Measures (RAM) from various site locations as instructed by the Battalion/Brigade S-3.
  • Compliance with the DA PAM and DA Army Regulations for physical security. Familiarity and knowledge of Army Regulation 190-13, The Army Physical Security Program is a necessity.
  • Responsible for writing, updating, and maintaining the Physical Security SOP (standard operating procedures) as necessary and to ensure that the Physical Security SOP adheres to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) of the contract and to Army Regulations.
  • Administrator and support security standards and requirements in all work and assists all levels of the contract to recognize security as a key element of customer and worker safety and accountability.
  • Consistently demonstrate, and encourage others to demonstrate, the highest security measures when completing job functions, interacting with employees, supervisors or outside customers, auditors or regulatory bodies.
  • Act as the subject matter expert as it pertains to achievement of the physical security requirements of the contract.
  • Schedule and conduct internal physical security checks and audits.
  • Produce and submit full physical security inspection summary reports on each site visit undertaken and compile by division and section any deficiencies observed with plans to fix and mitigate deficiencies as soon as possible.
  • Recommend appropriate improvements as a result of the physical security inspection results to the appropriate Manager, the Physical Security Manager, and Program Manager.
  • Assist in the development of corrective and preventive action plans and conduct follow up physical security inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Performs research for regulatory compliance issues and provides recommendations or changes to existing documentation to conform to the regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and monitor completion deadlines as necessary to meet company goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to obtain and keep a SECRET government clearance and possess a current driver’s license. Must possess strong organizational and prioritization skills, excellent presentation and report writing skills, is able to summarize complex compliance matters, must be able to confidently and professionally represent the physical security program, ability to set priorities and manage multiple division operational physical security measures. Computer skills: MS Office competency required. May work beyond regular hours as necessary, including weekends, and non-traditional hours.

Preferred: Current secret clearance, physical security experience and training.

Must be a U.S. citizen. Paid relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance or clearly state a willingness to relocate his or herself.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
