We are currently seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient centered PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our friendly team!
Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
Status: PRN
Schedule: Monday - Sunday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Summary/Objective
Provides physical therapy treatment supervised by and under the written treatment plan of a licensed physical therapist. Provides high quality professional health care to patients in their home environment. Under the direction of the inpatient/outpatient physical therapist, provides and directs physical therapy services to a caseload of patients and their families through direct care and interdisciplinary coordination.

Provides professional physical therapy services to patients/families in the home/ inpatient environment directed by and under the supervision of a registered physical therapist.

Provides medically prescribed physical therapy services to patients who require such care in a hospital setting; therapy services may include performing physical therapy procedures, ongoing evaluations and diagnostic tests.
Conducts an ongoing assessment of the patient and the patient’s home, if applicable, resulting in proper development of therapy plans, modification of equipment, appliances and the physical environment as directed by the physical therapist.
Required Education and Experience
- Physical Therapy Assistance License in the status of Illinois
- CPR Certified (preferred)
Iroquois Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed hospital located in Watseka, Illinois. The hospital facility is comprised of clinical and diagnostic services which are dedicated to providing high quality health care services to the community. These services include but are not limited to an Emergency Room, full service OR suites, an inpatient care unit, therapy services, advanced medical imaging, Home Health, and Hospice Care. The hospital operates rural health clinics in Watseka, IL, Gilman, IL, Milford, IL, and Kentland, IN. The hospital also operates a skilled nursing facility, Iroquois Resident Home, which is attached to the hospital property.
