Requirements:

• B.S. or higher
• Must have successfully completed all Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist education required for graduation in an accredited PT, OT or SLP Program
• California Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist license
• Current CPR Certification
• Prior experience in an adult outpatient setting is preferred for PT.
• Preferred not required: Bilingual in English & Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates the patients using appropriate, and age specific, tests and procedures.
• Provides an appropriate, age and diagnosis specific, treatment plan with appropriate short and long term goals in accordance to the patient and/or family/care givers desired goals.
• Provides accurate and timely documentation including: evaluations (within 24 hrs) update assessments, family training, equipment ordering, home exercise programs, doctors notes / communications, prescriptions, letters of medical necessity, discharges (within 30 days), and billing.
• Able to handle a variable and changing workload (min of 3 pts / hr) appropriately and maintain a positive working environment for both the patient and staff, and maintain quality care for the patients.
• Demonstrates appropriate and safe treatment techniques / exercises for the patient. Modifies treatment technique or exercise in response to patient feedback and professional judgment.
