Job Description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer who has experience in scoping, building, and implementing projects for businesses of all sizes. The Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining internal (ours) and external (our clients) environments by identifying liabilities, maintaining network performance, scoping solutions, deploying project implementations, and creating documentation for network infrastructure that is standardized to create maximum synergy between departments.

In this position I will…

Evaluate system health to ensure performance and availability of infrastructure for our managed services clients.
Evaluate and implements network specifications that govern policies, configurations, protocols, access control, and security requirements.
Maintain documentation for network infrastructure, system patching and hardware maintenance with IT Glue and ConnectWise Manage.

Deliver outstanding IT Support to facilitate the resolution of issues at the server level
Deliver outstanding IT Support to facilitate the resolution of issues at the network level
Scope and deliver planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and training of network improvements and new technologies based on client need and using documented best practices process.
Implement and support disaster recovery and cybersecurity solutions
Communicate with clients and staff proactively and as required: updates on issue resolution and progress, outages, implementation expectations, and network outages.

You will work with our team here in Mt. Holly as well as remotely with our client’s staff. The successful candidate will offer remote and on-site technical support on many different Windows environment applications in the Philadelphia area.

Requirements are:
3+ years in a Network Administrator, Senior Engineer or Systems Administrator role
3+ years of experience in installation, configuration and administration of operating systems and services on Windows server systems
3+ years of experience rebuilding existing or installing new servers and configuring hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
3+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining high availability virtualized environments.
3+ years of experience configuring, implementing, troubleshooting and updating network equipment including firewalls and switches.

3+ years of experience configuring, implementing, troubleshooting and updating enterprise storage arrays
1+ years of experience configuring, implementing, troubleshooting, and delivering Microsoft 365 migrations and solutions
Experience configuring, implementing, troubleshooting and updating various backup disaster tools like Veeam, ShadowProtect , and Datto preferred
Experience using ConnectWise, LabTech (or similar systems) preferred
Demonstrated experience in virtualization and consolidation of server technologies, specifically VMware vSphere and ESXi Virtual Infrastructure

Expert-level experience/skill supporting Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 /2019
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team environment in all phases of systems analysis activities
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Outstanding work ethic and strong interpersonal skills
Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently or with a team

Must follow all company processes and procedures to deliver a cohesive team and client experience

Experience with these technologies is a plus:
ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise Automate (LabTech) or other PSA and RMM tools

Firewall and VPN configuration – FortiNet , Cisco, Meraki
Remote technologies like Remote Desktop, ScreenConnect , and LogMeIn
Routing Switching and Wireless Equipment and Protocols.
SAN and NAS storage devices
Android and iPhone/iPad

Apple OSX
Cloud hosting services like Amazon Web Services
Website Hosting Platforms WHM/ Cpanel
