Pipe Inspector (Coiled Tubing) Job at Tenaris Coiled Tubes Downhole
Job description
Performs inspections on pipes identifying and marking defects when found, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure product quality complying with defined standards and reporting deviations.
- Executes change over and set up of the X-Ray equipment and revealing equipment.
- Prepares X-Ray plates according to quality procedures.
- Identifies and positions pipes.
- Settles X-Ray plates on pipes.
- Performs machine operation.
- Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (revealing fluid, machine adjustments, etc.).
- Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.
Schedule:
This position will be required to work on a rotating shift and to work overtime, holidays, shifts and weekends (if needed).
Preferred skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiar with operating a forklift
- Familiar with operating an overhead crane
- Familiar with NDT Techniques (Magnetic Particles, Visual Inspection)
- Ability to work in a team and maintain a good attitude
- Familiar with ERW process and the Tubing Industry
