Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize Orion's manufacturing ERP system to ensure that all customer requirements are met
- Develop manufacturing plans with detailed sequences of operations for most efficient method of fabrication
- Schedule and release manufacturing plans to meet customer requirements
- Identify raw materials, standards and outside process requirements
- Develop and maintain engineering drawings utilizing 3D CAD software
- Proficiency using Microsoft office suite for managing reports and data outside ERP system
2. Work Ethics
- Role model proper work ethics and behaviors
- Represent Orion favorably with customers, suppliers and other external parties
- Support all members of the Manufacturing and Orion team fully to achieve company, departmental, and personal goals and objectives
- Work with colleagues to review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing requirements are met
- Participate in team and company meetings
- Facilitate departmental and company projects

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
- Requires shop math skills
- Organizational ability
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collectively
- Customer service skills; able to relate well to all customers internal as well as external customers

- Consistent use of computer
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to reach, manipulate, handle, and hold material
- Frequent use of vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and spatial relationship

- Frequent use of speaking ability to express or exchange ideas, communicate detailed information, or convey instructions
- Frequent lifting of 5 or 10 pounds, with occasional lifting to 35 pounds
- Standing on feet for long periods of time
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing shop floor, requiring use of Safety Glasses
- Occasional exposure to excess noise levels, occasionally necessitating the use of Hearing Protection
