About the role:

Work at a production facility in St. Louis that develops and manufactures industrial additives in batches. This site has over 300 employees and is working on replacing and upgrading systems to modernize their facilities. Along with day-to-day support you’ll be writing programs and working with other departments to improve processes and safety procedures. You’ll be one of four Control Engineers that work on over a thousand control points, using blocks of programming to help improve and install old and new systems to meet changing operating needs – configuring remaining PLCs into DCS. Documenting control program intentions, implementations that were and will be initiated. No travel involved.

Minimum Requirements:

· B.S. degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical or Electrical) or experienced non-degree
· 5+ years of experience in chemicals, food, pharma, or closely related industry in a Controls Systems role
· Experience with both DCS/PLC configuration, ideally with Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell Automation ControlLogix, or Siemens S7, preferred
o Will consider a specialist with just DCS or PLC solely
