Plant Foreperson (Swanton, VT) Job # 476533: We are seeking a safety minded, qualified, motivated individual to operate and maintain the daily functions of an asphalt plant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: coordinate asphalt plant activity, communicate daily workload, as well as facilitate scheduling of liquids, aggregate and plant start up. Previous experience working in an asphalt plant is preferred but not required. Position based out of Swanton, VT. Classification: Seasonal hourly position.

Requirements:

• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication and organization skills.
• Must possess a working knowledge and understanding of Mine, Safety, Health, Regulations.
• Must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public.
• Extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.
• The willingness to travel to other Pike locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont when needed.
• A valid driver’s license.
