Plant HR Manager (Onsite-Manufacturing) Job at Newly Weds Foods- Chicago, IL
Summary
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing support in the form of recruiting, employment processing/orientations, employee relations efforts, supervisory support for disciplinary actions & terminations, compliance and general assistance around employee functions at Newly Weds Foods plants.
Essential Functions
- Oversee all employment and recruiting efforts for the plant.
- Provide general support to site management (e.g. production, maintenance, quality assurance) on employee relations issues.
- Assist with implementation and communication of Company policies, practices and procedures to site employees and management.
- Complete/conduct site employee complaint investigations.
- Foster and support a positive working relationship with plant management and related site team leaders.
- Ensures application of Human Resource procedures, practices to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Require a Bachelor's Degree in a related area.
- Minimum of eight years’ experience, with a minimum of five years as a supervisor
- Strong communication, analytical abilities, organization skills and general knowledge of Adobe applications, Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
- Experience of Human Resources management in a food manufacturing context is preferred
- Bilingual Strongly Preferred (English/Spanish)
