H&H Plumbing is a busy plumbing company seeking dependable, hard working & knowledgeable plumber helpers for commercial/residential work. Must have some plumbing knowledge such as; rough in, stack out, trim out, residential service, commercial or new construction builds. Must know PVC, PEX & Copper. 1yr MINIMUM plumbing experience is REQUIRED.

Purpose and Essential Duties

The Helper will do many basic tasks that require physical labor on large commercial mechanical and plumbing construction sites. Specific Responsibilities Include:

• General construction clean up
• Assist in material distribution
• Assist plumber with plumbing install
• Learn code requirements
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment
• Load and unload building materials to be used in construction
• Operate or tend equipment and machines used
• Follow construction plans and instructions

This position is Full Time, Non-Exempt, and reports to the Plumber, Supervisor & Owner.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Ability to communicate on all levels
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Must have adequate / reliable transportation to/from the office daily

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Plumbing & mechanical experience is a plus

Travel Requirements

• Infrequent travel to Company or client locations. Approximately 10% of time may be spent traveling out of town for 2-3 days.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

Essential

• Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs, be able to bend/stoop, squat/crouch, climb, kneel and twist. Must be able to climb ladders, work both inside and outside, and around moving equipment safely.

Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
