This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the required in-office days for this department.

This position supports Dental Select, a subsidiary of Ameritas Life Insurance Corp., Dental Select administers group dental and vision insurance, as well as dental plans for individual and families, covering over 470,000 members.

This position ensures all enrollment information newly entered and already existing is accurate and complete. Responsible for prompt and timely servicing and processing of member and group enrollment files, terminations, and change forms. Staff conduct daily file reviews for EDI, IDP, Portal changes and enrollments, along with processing all incoming requests via email, fax or internal workflow. Perform QA reviews to ensure entry accuracy. On an as needed basis, fully assists Customer Care in day-to-day operations within inbound call center answering calls in queue, resolving inquiries from customers, brokers, and providers, and processing resolution tickets via established workflows. This position must follow current procedures in accordance with industry/state regulations, internal/external audit recommendations, and compliance directives. The position must stay abreast to product and case education and associate training/coaching; identify and resolve system/processing related issues.

What you do

  • Assist with data entry for eligibility forms including enrollments, terminations, and processing change forms.
  • Research eligibility issues from Customer Care, Sales Support, Finance, Agents, or
  • Generate reports as needed for sales staff and groups.
  • Audit entry data for accuracy
  • Resolve inquiries from customers, brokers, and providers while working in the Customer Care inbound call center; create tickets and follow up as appropriate
What you bring

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required
  • 1 year of enrollment or dental Insurance experience preferred
