Mister Mart Pop-up Shop is your one-stop Pop Culture Shop at Pacific City Mall in Huntington Beach. We are innovative, fun, and creative. Our goal is to have the best collection of collectibles, toys, snacks, drinks, Mister SFC Jewelry, modern/vintage clothing, and more :)

We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store. Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return. They'll be impressed by your product knowledge and customer experience skills.

Responsibilities:

Cashiering

• Credit transactions for retail customers at the cash register
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the register station
• Promote add-on items, weekly specials, and other values and deals
• Other related duties as assigned

Customer Service

• Greet customers and assist with finding the desired product, use knowledge of inventory and product to make suggestions as needed and to supplement sales

Inventory

• Replenish shelves, ensure accurate and current signage, and merchandise product and clean as needed
• Receive and count deliveries, elevate discrepancies to the manager as required
• Price and label received products and existing inventory
• Move product to the sales floor for stocking based on inventory/sales reports and new inventory received
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other related duties as assigned

• Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and be flexible to changes in priorities and schedules
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Capability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend and stretch - ability to lift 25 pounds
• Manual dexterity for use of a cash register, computer keyboard, and telephone

A successful candidate will likely have:

• Experience working in a retail/store/sales environment
• Related certifications, high school degree/GED

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $16.00 per hour
