Pre Access Specialist (Call Center) Job at Mon Health

Job Summary

This position reports to the Patient Access Director and is responsible to assist with improvement in front end Revenue Cycle functions including, but not limited to: reservation/notification scheduling and or procedure scheduling for outpatient and ambulatory, pre-registration services, authorization, verification, accurate payment estimation, collections per-services, development improvement and implementations to improve efficiency and effectiveness for Pre- Access Services.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; or higher degree obtained. Certification in business and office management and/or Associates Degree preferred. MA/LPN preferred.

Experience

2-3 years of experience in business, office management, Patient Access (Registration or Financial Counseling).

Certifications/Licensures

NAHAM and or HFMA preferred

Physical Requirements

Light Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs.
