Bethlehem Construction, Inc. an innovative leader in commercial and architectural concrete manufacturing is in quest of a motivated Precast Manager with industry experience. This position will work at our Cashmere, WA Precast Concrete Facility.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Works with project managers and executives to plan and schedule production operations. Communicates production schedules and related information to department supervisors and other leadership.
  • Reads drawings and production schedules to ensure materials and other resources are in place and projects start on time.
  • Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
  • Drives high operational availability (OA) of the precast yard.
  • Ensures that all aspects of quality are in accordance with all PCI standards.
  • Conducts research and development of processes and strategies, as needed.
  • Tracks and reports production data.
  • Complies with and enforces all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Works with sales, safety, shipping, and project managers to troubleshoot problems and provides the customer with high quality products and service.
  • Participates in hiring, discipline, and other personnel matters as needed.
  • Hands-on manager with daily presence in the production areas.
  • Designs and implements training programs for Precast plant personnel.
  • Maintains an effective housekeeping program to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Accountable for the successful execution of each project, meeting time and budget goals.
  • Participates in Safety Committee meetings and enforces the use of safety equipment while providing full support to Safety Director.
  • Monitors operations and triggers corrective actions.
  • Drives continuous improvement and optimization of all processes.
  • Oversees inventory of plant materials and maintenance of machines and equipment.
  • Offers objective assessments for the manpower requirements and production rates, during the bidding process.
  • Must have strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
  • Plans, organizes, directs, and runs optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
  • Plans for plant capabilities related to sales forecast.
  • Understands the sales process and provide support with customer inquiries.
  • Estimates precast jobs and construction jobs.
  • Manages Projects as the Project Manager, when needed.
  • Oversee maintenance of all precast equipment.
  • Facilitates plant maintenance (scheduling production maintenance on mixers, testing equipment, and air compressor).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Able to read blueprints, be familiar with construction techniques, understand transportation and handling equipment used for the finished product.
  • Must be able to supervise, direct and schedule plant personnel and equipment in a manner that will achieve set goals and objectives.
  • Math skills for use in estimating, planning, and reporting.
  • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude to apply to the practical side of production, mechanical drawings, and proposals.

· Self-motivation and a positive attitude are essential, as well as willingness to work as part of a team.

Desired Experience:

  • College Degree in related field, preferred

· Relevant experience minimum (5) five years precast concrete management experience.

· PCI and ACI Certifications
