Prep Cook Job at Barberitos Auburn
Barberitos Auburn in Auburn, AL is looking for one prep cook to join our strong team. We are located on 1619 Opelika Rd #120. CONSISTENT DAYTIME SCHEDULE 5-6 DAYS A WEEK.
As a Prep Cook, you are essential to the daily operations of the restaurant and have a hand in every aspect of the menu items. You should have extensive food safety and allergens knowledge and you are responsible for suggesting produce orders, preparing raw veggies, making staple menu items such as Pico de Gallo and Guacamole, and blending all salsas, sauces, and marinades.
Responsibilities

*Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes *Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking *Weigh and measure ingredients *Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables *Basic cooking functions such as kneading dough, and preparing sauces *Label stock and inventory all ingredients *Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Qualifications

*Ability to communicate and listen to team members *Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal *Experience as a Prep Cook a plus

Hourly Wage Plus Tips
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $10.00 - $12.00/hour.
