Prep Cook Job at Clever Koi
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Execute prep items & recipes properly
- Help put away any incoming orders
- Maintain food storage areas to insure proper rotation
- Assist with replenishing line with prepared recipe items throughout service
- Maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen areas to include tables, floors, shelves, utensils and equipment.
- Assist dishwasher when needed
QUALITIES & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Basic knife skills
- Understanding of kitchen weights and measures
- Understanding of proper hot and cold handling of food
- Ability to scale a recipe up or down accurately
- Ability to read and execute recipe directions
- Understanding and ability to execute of proper food handling and rotation
- Ability to maintain a high energy level for 8 hours
- Enjoys food and learning about cooking techniques
ALL EMPLOYEES ON OUR TEAM NEED:
- Ability to spend long hours standing and walking
- Ability to lift 30-50#
- To work professionally under pressure
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Food Handlers Card
- Title IV Liquor Certification (FOH & Management)
- Maintain a high level of energy for the duration of a shift

Pay: $16 - $18 / hour
