Philly Pretzel Factory is currently seeking committed and motivated Production & Customer Service Team members in our Ballwin, MO location at 14744 Manchester Rd.

Closing (shift ends at 6 PM) and weekend availability a HUGE plus!

Employee Requirements:

• Must have the ability to interact with customers over the phone, as well as other avenues of contact in a responsive and professional manner.
• Will need to provide outstanding customer service in every customer encounter and be an effective communicator.

• Ability to work well in a team environment, must be able to respond to direction and work as a member of a team.
• Flexible work schedule.

Physical Demands

• The ability to lift 50lbs
• Stand, stoop, bend, reach periodically throughout the day

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Ringing up sales, bagging items, honoring coupons, collecting payment and giving appropriate change.
• Responsible for counting the contents of cash register drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts
• Working with an oven baking products.
• Twisting dough at a fast and steady pace.
• Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
• Previous experience as a cashier or working in a baking or quick service environment a plus, but not mandatory.
• Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately.
• Ability to process coupons, refunds and gift cards.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and twisting and standing for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of register operation, including cash, credit cards and register receipts.
• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Collect payments and bag purchases for customers.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Take a tally of the funds in the cash register when required during a shift and produce transaction reports.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
• Keep store, baking area and common employee area clean.

Licenses & Certification

• Food Safety Certification is a plus
