Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) Business Unit:

HID Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) Business Area is the global leader in enabling secure authentication for electronic access control. Our suite of leading brands (HID Signo, Mercury, Seos, iCLASS SE etc.) and platforms (HID Origo) enable electronic access control solution providers to build systems that allow people to interact with buildings safely and securely. This position will report to the Senior Director of Strategy and Commercial Excellence.


As the champion of good pricing hygiene and value-based pricing, for the PACS business, you will have the unique opportunity to impact and transform the business with innovative ideas.


As our Pricing Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:


  • Influencing the HID PACS pricing strategy, as well as leading important cross functional projects that impact sales, pricing, business and market intelligence, new product launches, and finance.
  • Driving PACS price realization through engagement with the business unit leaders and their teams, the HID Pricing Council, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Performing complex statistical pricing analytics and leading cross functional portfolio pricing reviews.
  • Working with various members of sales leadership and their respective teams in a competitive and time sensitive B2B quoting environment.
  • Assisting in overseeing the development and data integrity of pricing data visualization dashboards in Oracle Analytics Cloud and potentially other visualization solutions.
  • Creating and overseeing the training of customer facing and product management teams, including development of training materials.
  • Engaging with global resources through various councils and ensuring global priorities and compliance initiatives are implemented within the PACS business as required.
  • Reviewing various required financial and product reporting, both ad-hoc and routine.
  • Perform various day to day pricing/quoting/monitoring functions, and other ad hoc duties as assigned.

What we will like about your background:


  • Evidence of taking the initiative and turning requests, suggestions, analytical findings, and process gaps/improvement needs into tangible action items (or projects) and producing substantive quantitative and/or financial results.
  • Strong analytical skills in concert with the ability to present complex analytical concepts and results, in a simple and understandable manner to business owners and executive teams.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite with exceptional skill with Excel or an equivalent.
  • Strong business intelligence, and data visualization background.
  • Experience with Agile, Oracle Advanced Pricing, Salesforce, and Oracle CPQ.

Your Experience and Education include:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, a Master’s degree a plus, focused on economics, finance, pricing, or business preferred.
  • At least 5 years of working in a similar pricing, finance, or business analytics role highly preferred.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams in highly matrixed work environments.
  • Track record of tangible financial successes managing large, impactful, companywide projects.
  • Experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders at high levels of an organization.
